Who is responsible
This site is published by AEOSearch, LLC, an Oregon company, reachable at support@aeosearch.io. That company is the data controller for anything collected here.
What the site collects
Nothing until you act. The pages load no analytics and no advertising script by default. Two small preferences can be kept in your browser’s own storage: whether you asked the animations to stop, and a campaign code if one arrived in the address. Neither leaves your browser on its own.
On your first visit a cookie box asks what you allow. Your answer is kept in one cookie, ap_consent, for 365 days, and Cookie Settings at the foot of every page asks again. Necessary only loads nothing. Analytics allows Google Analytics; advertising allows the Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit tags; each loads only if we have configured it. A browser that sends Global Privacy Control is treated as necessary only, without asking.
A campaign identifier arriving in the address (utm_id) is kept in your browser for 30 days so an idea you send can carry it. It is a short code, not a name.
Your idea
When you send your idea we receive what you typed: your name, your email, the property, the description, any live address and when you need the first look. It reaches us by email through Resend, which handles it on our behalf. We use it to reply and to build the first look. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or add you to a list you did not ask for. An anonymised idea is shown as an example only if you ticked the box.
The newsletter
When you join the newsletter we receive your email address, by email through Resend, and add it to our list. We use it only to send the letter. Reply to any letter to leave, and the address is deleted from the list.
Your rights
Write to support@aeosearch.io, or send a note through the idea form marked privacy, to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your supervisory authority; California residents have the same rights to know and to delete, and we never sell or share personal information.
Retention
An idea is kept for as long as the conversation about it is open, and deleted twelve months after the last message unless you have become a client, in which case it lives with your project.
Children
The site is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
